Growing up and working in her family-owned picture framing business has exposed Bethanne to countless mediums of art. Fine Art Photography and Pastel have been her own mediums of choice. Each one having its own special place in her heart.
Bethanne credits her talent to her parents, both of whom are established artists varying widely in style. Marilyn Fraser now living in California, and Ivan Fraser of Nova Scotia. She’s also been surrounded by numerous artists, photographers and gallery owners who’ve critiqued her work, encouraged and inspired her to find the time to pursue her art career.
A keen interest in color, light and shape is evident in all her works. Her motto is, “If I have to work extremely hard on a piece of art, it becomes more of a task than an enjoyable creation. Therefore I tend choose subjects that I have fun with or have a very special purpose to me.
Bethanne hopes you take time to stop and enjoy the beauty, shape and color of everything that surrounds you.
In addition to her art Bethanne has a wide variety of hobbies which include: playing the piano, horseback riding, reading, landscape design and gardening. Her husband Shawn, and two boys Justin and Colton top her list.
